My french flat mate at Uni always refered to it as 'breath of the dog' (probably more apt in most cases), but then he always took about an hour to get a round in by the time the poor barman had translated the order, we used to settle for 'mack-ee-wans' rather than get him to ask for a 'brew-ack-laddie'

According to his owner he ran the full length of the beach to come back
and see oor dug who was still hiding in the back of the bongo(Freda )so he decided his dog had enough excercising for the day and went home

(probably to go back to his favourite chair leg )
