I had intermittent trouble with my central locking.
Checked out this excellent forum and yes it was a broken wire between the door and inner wing. It was the white with black line. All I did was re-join and hey presto it now works ever time.

So keep posting all of your top tips.

Mine is an orange wire, strange I would have thought they should be uniform but maybe different years had different wiring. Mine is P reg.
