Bongo Fury

Right peeps...here's an obscure one..no info via search or in factsheets.

My rear windscreen washer has packed up.

I've checked the pipes and the nozzle on the back door...all clear

There appears to be a seperate (from the front washers) motor and electrics for this situated at the rear of the fluid reservoir.

The motor does not operate when 'rear wash' is selected on the steering wheel stick control.

I've got a vague memory of it working when I first got the vehicle but it hasn't worked for a very long time.

Electric connector & wires seem ok.

BUT
I dont know where the fuse is.
and
How easy is it to replace the washer motor if it's bust?

Looking forward to some informed knowledge.

Dunno about the Bongo Harry, but, in the past, I've bought "universal" washer pumps from accessory shops and just held them in place with cable ties.

Thanks john but I still don't know if its just the fuse.

I'm suprised all the messing with your door at dent didn't spring it back to life harry...

I was hoping somebody else would come up with that Harry, cos' I can't see which fuse, if any, controls it.

when i was messing about with my rear wiper
i found it was fuse 13 second row 5th in from the left red 10 amp fuse stopped the washer from working

Tisn't the fuse....where do I get a new mota?

No I don't mean a new bongo...just a new rear screen washers motor?

Spose its another 50 mile round trip to the nearest Halfords....£10 in fuel down the swanee...was hoping that someone might have an idea for mail ordering the proper bit.
