It's in the Fact Sheets in the Member's Area - at the bottom of the Glow Plug sheet.
The hardest part was finding the purple wire cos' it's hidden by the plastic covering. It comes out of the back relay, which is covered by what looks like a stiff clear plastic bag.

YEP !! I did mine about 4 weeks ago. Dead easy and seems worthwhile.

Got all the parts/wire for doing the job, now just waiting for my holidays
After just changing the plugs I thought I would do this mod to help them last! This sounds like it could save me a small fortune. Must be worth more in the than the membership alone! well worth joining!!!!!
(Any commission available?)

Did mine last year and used a switch with a bulb in it - just shows you how LONG the plugs can stay on for on a cold day............MINUTES!

Well, today was a cold, driech, harr misty morning so I thought I'd check how long the glowplugs stay on. Caught up in slow moving traffic and using very little throttle so the plugs didn't kick out with turbo boost...................................5 MINUTES later they finally turned off just as I got onto a dual carriageway - exactly the same time as the gearbox took lockup (same sensor circuit, although this was the first time I'd proved it

).................no wonder cheap ones don't last long

Coo Dandy - I bet you're glad you did that mod, even good plugs aren't really designed to work that long.
