I know this is probably a daft question, but, what are the symptoms of worn droplinks
Thanks

Hi neil/di,
Ive been lucky so far,( not had to change mine yet) but, from what i have read on fury in the past, worn droplinks are usually associated with clonks and clunks, and some vague feelings through the wheel... Although clonks and clunks can also be attributed to anti roll bar bushes and/or the brackets....

My bongo was clonking and clanking and knocking at the slightest bump the I changed ALL the drop links and roll bar bushes and she's like a new car now. . ..real smooth and quiet. . . well worth doing. . . oh, and the MOT is tomorrow!!!

Agree with all the above. Not difficult and WELL worth doing. You feel like you are driving a new car afterwards.
Mike
PS - the obvious time you get the clunking is over poor, potholed roads when the suspension gets jarred.

Just had my rear drop links replaced as one was broken- Because of time constaints I went for the Ford Galaxy drop link option- they are a little cheaper than the mazda part although because they are marginally shorter both Droplinks were replaced. I believe though that where EU indigeneous parts can be used at no detriment to the Bongo then this will prove to be less hassle in the long run for obtaining spares- see link for part details:

Neil/Di - someone just did this v. recently - should find it by putting 'Galaxy' into Search. The person who did it says its cheaper than getting Bongo ones (though my Bongo ones from ebay were cheap anyway) and they've not mentioned any handling problems.
