Charity Farm Meet

Post by Dabs » Sat May 26, 2007 9:27 pm

Hello NW Bongopeeps,
Date for Your diaries :- Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd June 2007.

Location :-
Charity Farm
Smithy Brow
Wrightington Nr Wigan
Lancashire WN6 9PP
http://www.ribblesdale.net/charityfarm/

OK Peeps having spent the afternoon doing a reccy and meeting with the owner at Charity Farm I have managed to secure a special Rally Tarriff for this site of £5.25 per Bongo per night.
On the strength of this I have booked one of the rally fields so all WE have to do is turn up and ENJOY!!

This price includes awnings and dogs and kids, showers are available as are the usual site facilities like water/toilets.

Electricity is unfortunately unavailable on the Rally Field.

Please take a look at the link and let Me know your interest asap as a rough guide the field will accomodate @16 Bongos plus awnings.

The owner would of course request that We leave the field as We found it and any barbecues used be raised from the grass so as to avoid damage.Any dogs will of course have to be kept on a lead and tidied up after. The same goes for any litter etc.

Please post any responses on this thread or PM Me of Your interest asap as numbers are limited. It will be first come first served basis

Remember its a maximum of 16 Bongos Amended to NO LIMIT 16.06.07

Day visitors will be allowed and welcome to attend but will have to pay the nightly rate of £5.25 per Bongo(as of 16.06.07 nowreduced to £3.00.

ALL BOOKINGS WILL BE FOR BOTH NIGHTS ONLY BOOK BY POSTING A DEFINITE YES ON FORUM OR A PM TO ME.

Looking forward to Meeting up again! :D

Cheers Dabs
PS Thanks to DBO and BigD for help with the reccy this affy :D Cheers Guys

Brian,
Sorry to be a killjoy but it is for Bongos only, this was the basis of any price agreements today.
So unfortunately if You want to go in a caravan in Your case it would be best to ring the site Yourself and book in plus caravan.

As an idea Brian You could always book onto the next field with the caravan there is a throughway between the 2 fields.

Sorry about that matey.Hope You still come [-o<
Dabs

Update Brian has booked in with Us on same field :D Dabs

Dabs.

Thanks for the swift reply.

Not a problem, ill ring the site tomorow and book a normal pitch (ill spoil
our Maude and get a lecy hook up). We can pitch the van there and then
park the Bongo on the Rally Field ,next to yours and it will make yours look even better. (make sure you read that right, dont want smacking with
a soggy pie on arrival!!)

We`ll definitely be there, look forward to meeting everyone

Brian, our bongo isnt a converted one,all we do as most others do is put all the seats down and put an air mattress over them, and a gallon of beer, makes you sleep all night mate.
Come on break your bongo in ,sleep rough.
PS i have a spare double air mattress if you and maude take the plunge.

Well done Dabongo.
This is one of those 'might sound a silly question' questions, but is this limited to 16 night pitches @ £5.25 with daytime visitors extra @ £5.25.
Or is it capped at 16 Bongos in total?
