I'm going to have to change the CV joint myself as no garage can fit me in in time for the bash. It's a long story.
Anyway is there anything I should know about changing the joint that may catch me unawares?
Also got the breaks all round to do too!! Then get it through the MOT.

If the joint doesn't come with a new gaitor then put one on anyway.

All that to do before tomorrow ozric?...Phew!
Ive just watched my mechanic change the c.v. boot for me, (not the joint though) Although i do recall reaing somewhere that you should have a little container to hand when you slide the joint off the driveshaft, as there a six bearings lurking behind, (individual, not in a race) just waiting to drop out and roll down a grid.

Good luck, and see you there saturday, if you are still there.

				I've been beaten.
I started by following the CV boot fact sheet but couldn't get the track rod off, so it's off to the garage on Thursday. I'll all so have them do a pre MOT check and hope it sails through at the MOT garage.
It's up for sale after the bash costing me to much to maintain.
Land Rover Discovery next.
