Bongo Fury

Sorry if I sound like an idiot (nothing new there...) but we've had our Bongo for four weeks now and there is one button/switch which remains a mystery to me.

It is situated next to the fog light button and has a small red light (line shape rather than round) which lights up - but I can't work out what it does and we seem to have buttons/knobs/switches enough to cover all the functions you might expect.

It looks very much like a switch from my old V-reg Mini so perhaps that's a clue? Probably something really, really dull...

I have one of those it lights up my rear fogs, the fog light switch lights up the front fogs on mine

Ours seems to come on with the front ones - strangely...perhaps its for when Mr P misbehaves?

Ive got one of those! But when I selected it it blew the dash board lights and exterior light fuses Haven't touched it since and now I know what its for

Every BongoImport has to have one fitted to pass SVA/MOT.

It IS an ejector seat switch.
When 'er indoors starts to nag on a long journey, just secretly finger the switch whilst thinking to yourself
"One press and she's history"

Seriously though. Have you got other switches for the front and rear fogs as well as this one, or does it operate the rear fogs as Pip suggested?

No rear fog light either? Need one for MOT!

Seems that the rear one comes on with the front ones...but perhaps you can switch the back one on independently I'll go and check later on. Still like the idea of an ejector seat though!

Thats very interesting as it came with a very recent MOT when we bought it, without the fog light.
Wonder what occurred there???? Best I check that out, MOT due soon.
