Well, my lot said they were put off by the weather - but they all completed, so it can't have been that bad. They were all doing the Silver Award - I reckon they'll all be up for the Gold once they've had a bath and warmed up a bit :D

The memories are always better once you've had time to remember the best bits!

Thanks for the pics. Think the kids got the most out of the weekend. Pete hope your new awning is okay. You all look like you had a great time. Well done.

Big thank you to Pete and Gillian for organising the weekend, pity about the weather, and especially that MUD !!....Still ,a lovely site and super area.

A special big thank you to Pete.Mike and Jo for their help to Neil and Lynzy with their awning.
As it was dark when being put up,and with it being their first camp in their newly aquired Bongo,i dont think they would have managed without all your help,it was VERY much appreciated. =D> =D> =D> =D> =D> =D>

Nice to see everyone again, and also to meet a few new faces,we all had a great time and, unlike me,ive only taken a few pics:-

There were a few on the grass (sludge) the other side of the hedge to where you were, BongoPlod & Platty345 amongst them, BongoPlod didn't leave until after you

I am gutted. I said to mark that I wondered if that was Bongoplod's caravan but I never saw either of them so I just thought they weren't there!!

Hi Cat,

We saw you a number of times, I did wave to you as i was returning from the toilet block, you were talking at the top end of the field but didnt see me,Mark was nearby too.

Unfortunately it wasnt a too good a weekend for me. As you are probably aware im not very good on me pins, and was in a lot of discomfort, possibly due to the cold. But everywhere was so muddy and slippy it was difficult to walk.I took a wander to mikes gazebo on Friday night (before it was flattened by the snow)to say hello, and that was enough, and Saturday after all that snow it was just too slippy,so I basiclly stayed in the `van rather than risk a visit to A and E.

I was on the other side of the hedge as Muz says, with Plattys345 & 678,Mikeonb4c and my daughter Lynzy n Neil

Nice to know our presence was missed! :)

Your presence was definitely missed. I can't beleive I didn't see you. Next time I will knock the door down for a brew. We didn't get there till Saturday lunchtime which is why we missed each other. Hope you got back safe and in one piece anyway - even we didn't do that bridge twice :)

=D> =D> =D>
what a fantastic weekend despite the weather
Jetski you are a walking miracle not only for looking after your 4 fantastic kids and keeping a smile on your face, but saving our lives with the fan heater.
Gillian what can i say - pied piper of keighley.sorry i didn't manage to add another to your flock here's hoping for the summer.
Platty i've put you down for father xmas
Mike and Jo first up and first to help out, meets wouldn't be the same without you
it was fantastic how everyone just mucked (literally) in
-feels a bit like an award ceremony now - i,d like to thank my producer, my co star, the cast and crew, my great aunt fanny and uncle tom cobbly and all.
spent the morning editing photos with captions and can,t even upload them to my space now  boss is away tomorow =D> so i'm hoping to persuade one of the lads to show me how to bypass work security measures and download photobucket.
