Disciplinary Proceedings

Within the last 48 hours we have had not one BUT TWO complaints about fellow members [-X . We have therefore decided to launch disciplinary proceedings. We can not name the members for legal reasons. In fact the people concerned will not know about the charges until they turn up for the AGM on Sunday lunchtime.

Charge 1: Implementing a new club rule before it had been ratified at the AGM.
Charge 2: Defacing of club sticker.

Please ensure that you turn up to supply a "jury of peers".

As I said, I can not disclose names, but I think it sufficient to say that they are both based in the North West. Although the person charged with defacing the club sticker may have had an accomplice from Cornwall.

Have an idea of charge No.2.

Number one is something of a conundrum. Could be one or all of us. Do all of us need to bring along a union rep just to be on the safe side?

It's certainly not a joke!

Although I am unable to mention the individuals concerned (but Person A is from Wigan whose surname rhymes with "pain", and Person B is a recent competition winner from Manchester who has possibly collaborated with someone in the printing business from St Austell) I can tell you that:

1) Person A has admitted here on this forum that they are guilty of breach of Rule 1.1 (1) (a) as written in the club constitution.

2) Person B has knowingly permitted a wilful act of vandalism to the design of the club sticker.

I can say no more. All will be revealed at the AGM. Please bring your tomatoes. And possibly a ducking stool.

Perhaps a song is in order, that would be a prety severe punishment. If convicted of course, mustn't jump the gun. :D
