Team Muz at the Bash

Well that was our first Bash, and although we could only do two days because of school, we really enjoyed it. There were a lot of Bongos there....
We decided to steer clear of motorways so went from Manchester via Wrexham & Oswestry
which wasn't altogether crazy, we wanted to take a look at the Knockin radio telescope in Shropshire which is operated by Jodrell Bank, and with a few similar devices linked up around the country can obtain better results than the Hubble space telescope. Not surprising, really, as that was built by Americans

Plus, while you're in Knockin, you can't miss the opportunity to be photographed outside the Knockin Shop

So, onto Bongos. There were a lot, but I think the most unusual colour was this one....

Arrays of Bongos are difficult to photograph unless you're in a helicopter.

Most novel camp setup was this group of four, all with wind-out awnings and positioned around a central gazebo.

We seemed to acquire a bunch of kids throughout the weekend
There was a variety of river craft chugging by, including these....

....and this fearsome bunch

This was a superb setting for a campsite - you can't beat this for a morning view on Sunday....

Ah - almost forgot - the wildlife pic

Well done to all those who helped organise this, we'll try to make it for longer next year.
