Great pics, gonna have a laugh on my kiting forums now.
I counted 27 at one point, but some overlapped  but thanks for the show, one day I'll have to do a shot just beside the flyer, then I can fill all 360 degrees (well almost) with kites

That'd be wicked to get some aerial views of the field full of bongos, a few of us were discussing this over the weekend, if we all chipped in a few quid - or if it was in the ticket price, to get a ballon or plane to do some aerial shots to get the full impact.

Yup you sure can, use to run one myself, the camera is still up (whitish box to left of mast at the top) there but I've not got the stream running at present. But I'm not bringing that mast along to the next Bash, could use the rearview / height limit camera(s) on the Bongo

Well so long as you only want the gear to fly then the KAPShop can do it.

There are a few airfields around there that have flying schools.

One plan we had on the friday night was to get a 6 seater in the morning & go for a bit of a jolly (22 hours into my pilots licence!) & grab some snaps from above.

Weather on saturday was dismally misty.

Shame. Will do it next year though.

As well as having a few kites, i have just purchased a Radio controlled Helicopter, now if i can learn to fly it before the next bash and if the wind is low, and the camera light enough then that might be an option.

As a follow up the Kite panorama has been accepted onto the World Wide Panorama event that took place over the Solstice weekend on the theme "Elevation".

So 'thedogsbollox' you now have a fully international audience for your kite flying ;-)

youv'e got a year to master it, sounds really great and I would love to see an aerial shot of the "bash" field in all it's glory.
