New Freda owner in Bradford

Post by ns400r » Sat Jul 12, 2008 8:58 am

Hi

I have Just become the owner of a 1999 Ford Freda 2.5d 4x4 AFT White over Silver.

After one or two problems with the alarm that I had fitted in with the deal (mainly due to the auto electrician hired by the garage I bought it from), everything seems ok!

Can anyone recommend a Bongo friendly garage in the Bradford area also a paint sprayer for one chips and scratches.

Looking forward to getting out in the Dales next weekend.

Cheers Clive

Welcome nsr!!

I use a Top Bloke in Cleckheaton for my "major surgical" issues, try Benson Auto Services near to Spenny Baths.

He knows his stuff & charges realisticly.

Hi Clive,
Look out for our black over silver trundling through Bradford on the way to/from gigs on weekend evenings.
Pics of your Freda would be good too!

Hi Clive,

Were you going into the Focus/Mc d's carpark on Sat????? A very nice looking white over silver was on the way in as we left - if it wasn't you we got some cheery waves anyway :D

Clogger suggested a garage to me, in Idle - pm him and find out exactly where (I've forgotten  )

hi Clive
We are in the Dales so you,re welcome to call in for a coffee - sorry don't know any garages our local man at Threshfield seems pretty keen to have a go at servicing our bongo though.

Hi
Thanks for the welcome.
Spoke to a garage in Idle, and the guy seemed to know his stuff about Bongos, he said he services several. and only a few miles from home.

Not me going into Focus.

looking forward to heading out this weekend.

Hi Clive,

I've used Mark at New Street Garage a couple of times - he does know his stuff, and he's happy to fit parts you've sourced yourself - so that can save a few quid too :D
