Don't won't to upset your plans but if you are planning on going in Convoy and want to park on the beach,
You best be leaving Wigan around 5am
Beach parking always fills up really early. Southport may be gridlocked for most of the day.

Right besides my old school in Birkdale, wish that I could come. Lot of memories of those horrible cross county races through the sandhills. It would be great to meet up with you all again. Unfortunately June has caught an infection and I have to ferry her to the hospital in my Jeep. Oops! I forgot that my Bongo is in Crossburn Caravans workshop in Peebles at the moment getting the faulty gas hob sorted out. Ah well then Blackpool perhaps

Yeah, i was thinking that too pete...guess it's a weekend of early nights for me then!

I remember giving up trying to find a space a few years back for the airshow,after a few hours!

Knowing dabs, he'll have a contingency plan waiting in the wings i'm sure.

Nope no plans,its simple just turn up and look for Bongos on the beach!!
