Sheffield Day Meet / Bring & Buy Sale 25 January

To break up the long winter days, I have arranged with my local pub that we can take over their car park on Sunday 25th January. Location is The Castle Inn, Twentywell Road, Bradway,
Sheffield S17 4PT.

If you have any stuff you want to get rid of or swap, bring it along. A table is a good idea if you have a few things you want to unload.

We will be there from about 10.30am until late afternoon. The Castle does an excellent sunday roast. It also does sandwiches etc. Kids and dogs are welcome.

Post here if you intend coming so we can estimate the numbers. If you want to stay overnight (before or after), there are hook ups available, but no facilities once the pub is shut.

What a great idea =D> =D> =D>

I'll try and make that. Is it bring and buy anything, or just Bongo things? 8)

I had mainly Bongo stuff in mind, but you can bring whatever you want.

I've had a word with Mick, landlord of The Castle, and we can arrive at 10.30am and stay as long as we want. Pub is open all day. There will be a carvery laid on, and hot roast sarnies.

Although we are running this as a bring-and-buy sale, it needn't be just Bongo stuff. If you want to bring unwanted chrissie prezzies, old books and LPs etc, that's fine. But even if you are not thinking of buying or selling, come along anyway and meet fellow Bongonauts.

Also, if anyone needs anything from the Bongo Shop, order it in advance and you will save on the postage costs.

hi,
can anyone tell me if there`d be anything for my kids to do if we went?is anyone else taking their kids along?we`d be taking our dog,so basically we`d end up sitting in the bongo in the pub carpark for several hours if there was not much else to do.how many people are confirmed at present?
thanks
