Well I have took the bull by the horns and decided to look for a local venue for an after Christmas and New year Bongo meet.
I have looked into venues and considered dogs/kids location and Sacrewell Farm & Country Centre is where we will be at and the date is Sunday 18th January 2009 it opens at 10:00........

For all that are not sure where it is just off the A47 at Wansford and about 500 metres or so from the A1/A47 junction (map on their website)
I am also going to check out the camping there too...........for another meet in the season.......
Hope some of you can make it

Bit of a trek for a day meet (when the daylight hours are so short), but definitely interested for a camping meet in March or later

Ferry Meadows is just down the road.

It's a CC site but they should let a Bongo or two in at that time of year without moaning too much.

We were hoping to get to your meet at Stratford but SWMBO is now on call, so unless I can get manage to worm out of taking little 'un to her activities , I/we can't make it along. It's an easy run across for us and we like Stratford too.....oh well

.....see you at Sacrewell...........I am going to check out the camping for a future meet while I am there..

Hi to all you Bongo Folk
Sacrewell Farm is just up the road from us, so it would be rude not to pop over and say Hi.
So see you all on the Sunday 18th of Jan.
If any of you are suffering from any aches and pains we proposing to open our sports injuries clinic on the Sat to any Bongo folk who would like a cut price treatment, we have hydraulic couches- easier to get on and off!, ultrasound, hivamat and of course our soothing hands or treat yourself to a Hot Rock Rub this very relaxing and warming or you can visit us - park your Bongo on our large drive and have a cuppa with us.

Long range forecast suggests max temperature of about 5 or 6 celcius, which we think should be OK. But then you never know. Look forward to seeing Bongos and their minders.

Well 5 Bongos are here Mike, SimonV, Technophobe, and J&J.
Lovely bright day just a little too "crisp" for standing around to long.
