I rang to book on Monday for ourselves and son and partner. Had no lecky sites left but we have booked two separate pitches without. Hope to meet some fellow Bongo Fury members whilst we are there. This will be our first proper "outing" with the recently acquired Bongo!!! hope the sun shines on us!

I've been struggling to get pitches at Upwood with lectric which is a blummin shame . So here is another option for you. I have found another site in Salterforth nr Kelbrook. A bit of a drive to Haworth, but it could be possible to catch the bus from the site to Haworth.

Anyway, I have taken the liberty of booking some provisional pitches at Lowergreenhill Farm five in fact with electric hookup for Friday 15th May and Saturday 16th May. 2 have been taken so three more to interested parties. If you fancy a camp over please could you contact the site on 01282 813067 the pitches are booked in the name of Hurlstone.

Pitch Price is £12.00 per night including Hookup. It was a tenner, but the fees have gone up for the 1st time in 5 years

There is a pub in walking distance, fab chippy just down the road eat in or out and some nice gentle walks along the canal. If you fancy a hearty roast, you can visit a pub called the Langroyd Hall for a Carvery which is just under £4.00 on Saturday and about £7.00 on Sunday.

its a great little site,i stopped there in feb when going mountain biking,good hardstandings and toilets.

bus is about 20 mins to howarth i believe.

hope one of the pitches gone is mine chell

As explained by me mam (thomas 884) we have booked and have pitches without elecy, however i was talking to the warden last week and asked him if anyone had cancelled and he said no, but he said, if we have good weather and no problems we will have more electric points fitted by the time its on !!! so it may be worth a booking and with a bit of luck wwe may get elecy if not its only 2 nights but att least there will be a few of us
