haydn callow wrote:Ian has asked me to do a few classes along the same lines as last year. This will be very basic stuff and each class will last 40 mins approx. The system of booking last year worked very well, book in with Ian at the main Club shop/tent and then be either at my pitch at the allocated time or in the "Big Top" if it's raining.
There will be 2 classes on Thur/Fri/Sat @2pm and 3pm (total of 6 classes) Max peeps per class will be 6.
There will be a nominal charge for each person attending and this will be donated to charity.
Because of the above and the lack of a Coolant Alarm Fitter this year I will only be able to fit a very few alarms and these MUST be pre booked by PM to myself. There will be a charge of £10 for each Pre Booked fitting and this again will go to charity. Alarms/BMW Clocks will be available to buy on site but will only be fitted if time allows...these unbooked fittings will be £15 and again the money will go to the charity.(you could fit them yourself {dead easy} and I will be around if you get a problem {unlikely})
The charity being supported by myself this year is the BRPS (British Retinitis Pigmentosa Society)
Any questions ..please let me know. I did run out of alarms last year so some indication would be good so I can get enough together.
:-k Now Haydn, here's a thought, I spoke to Kirsty last night,
and she agreed it may be a great idea if I help you out,
by possibly demonstrating an engine bay cleaning class along side your own classes
What dya think ??
cheers! party on dudes.

Great idea--more classess the better for people like me who are'nt too good with motors especially Bongo's/Fredas 8) 8) --it would be brilliant if there was a demo on changing coolant bleeding etc; but like me (when your motors running right) who'd want to have theres as a donor motor :) :) :)

Crazy...sounds good to me...we can sort it when we get there......I will also do a "dry" coolant drain/bleed demo if it would help and there is demand.

Lets play it by ear!!

we were flexible last year.

Haydn, the info packs for the Bash were posted yesterday, and the fitting service was mentioned. Give it a few more days, and you might get some more fittings. A Monday cut-off perhaps?

Haydn,

I'm a bit embarrassed to post this after you showed me what to do at Brokerswood. Any chance of a coolant alrm fitting one year on from last years bash!? I think its a mkII - if I can just remember where I put it!!
