Phew, at last. Managed to upload my modest collection of pics. My tackle (and my skill at using it) can't match you old pros but here's some from the wonderful walk on Saturday:
We had a great time, and special thanks to Pete (Snowkiter), who led the walk and got us there and back home safely having located and inspected a couple of plastic boxes on the top of Gummers Howe. Way to go Randy McSlab
And thanks - once again - to Di and Jamie for making it happen, and to all good Bongo friends for being there. Life ain't so bad when you can have a weekend like last weekend.

great pics mike, looking forward to next time at hill of oaks, was very quiet when everyone had gone, kind of deserted really, although a camper pulled in next door to us sunday night (they had the rest of the camp site to choose from...) one of them fiat jobbies, there were 3 in the van... no there were 3 larger than life people in, they went out at 8 came back at 11, lit the bbq then shouted at each other until dunno when.... Jackson slept right thru but we were up ages in case they woke him!

this is what happens when you end up being around non bongos fiats renaults and vw,s are far too noisy.-though to be honest with the roof down and the door shut we rarely hear any noise at night
which is suprising considering we normally live in a place where the loudest noise is a cow moo-ing.

yeah we're pretty well insulated, when Jackson carries himself on we lock him in the bongo and can hardly hear him lol

grrr so frustrating - we have had to install virtual machines at work everytime i click a link on here either the internet completely vanishes in cyberspace and i have to go through a lengthy process to get back on, or if it goes through there is no flashplayer javascript is diabled and i cant download anything because i,m not logged in as an administrator --- so annoying -
but i,m sure its a lovely video anyway.
