That is clearly not right Helen, unless they also slow the pistons down on the power strokehelen&tony wrote: By coincidence, I market a fuel saving device consisting of 4 electrically pulsed clockwork magnets...just stick one over each cylinder on top of the rocker box, and the magnet helps pull the piston up during the compression cycle, thus reducing friction and aiding economy. It works entirely on the principle of neutron flow lamellar stiction reduction....a well known scientific principle as favoured during NASA testing on Moon bicycles

Aha, I missed the NASA bit - they probably would believe aluminum (American spelling) is magnetichelen&tony wrote:Hi John
Of course....that's one of the principles of electrically activated clockwork....and don't forget it's NASA approved

An INCREASE in fuel consumption? I can do that. Tighten the handbrake till it binds, half the tyre, and use the thickest oil you can find. If want it increased even further drive with the roof up.welsh winger wrote:I called down to the motor home and caravan show in Carmarthen last weekend, There were 3 stalls selling what I call snake oil treatments, one offered your money back, I offered to do it the other way I would pay him when I had an increase in fuel consumption, bloke did not take me up on it, not sure why.
