Stalling/Hard to start

My brother's bongo is causing a few problems at the moment,
its had the glow plugs changed, oil change, oil, air, and fuel filters changed, the banjo filter cleaned twice (just in case).
it just had a new reconditioned starter motor fitted and the egr blanked off.
its had injector cleaning fluid put into the fuel filter when it was changed.
And it still keeps stalling and very hard to start or re-start after it stalls.
I was wondering if a knackered fuel pump might cause the problem, any ideas from you guys and gals.?

Have you tried sucking from a clean source, ie a can of diesel & a bit of tubing to the fuel pump - just to eliminate any problems with the pick up in the tank?

Someone just had a result on another thread (slightly diff. symptoms mind you) where a new air filter had been fitted and yet removing the air filter altogether fixed the problem, suggesting the new air filter was faulty. Your brothers problem does sound like something else though, but worth a try in the same way as Kirstys suggestion above. Sometimes you just got to try taking something out of the equation and seeing if things improve. Wish him luck and hope he gets it sorted

All the above i have mentioned has been done by Wheelquick, the problem is my brothers bongo is his work vehicle, and the problem is getting the time to get it to Wheelquick and leaving it with the Mikes. i am just trying to eliminate any little problems that i may be able to fix myself , its still under warranty with Mike, like i said, it's just having the time to leave it with him.
Thanks Kirsty ,never thought of that , good idea.
