Pics of the bash from a different perspective - from the air

As promised I did take some pics of the bash from the air using my electric model glider which I have converted to take aerial images. Due to time constraints and an issue with my vehicle (more will be told tomorrow) I only managed to photograph on Sunday at about 12:45
As a matter of interest, The model used was a model called an e-fair 1.5m wingspan electric model, it has a brushless motor, runs on 3 Lipolly cells and can get to 150m in 10 seconds without the camera. The camera I was Using today is a converted 5mp camera phone with the ability to geotag an record the model track in 3D. The model and camera respond quite well so make a good combination for aerial photography if the conditions are right. The red and white thing at the top right of the image is the wing of the model.
I will publish edited ones over the next few days. Let me know your comments

				Superb

And what an ingenious idea. How high was it flying?
Wasn't able to go to the Bash so it's great to see it from that angle to get an idea of the scale of things. Ground level photography provides the atmosphere but your photos really are an excellent idea. Can't get over the clarity of them either.
Thank you.

Oh bum! I was at the AGM and saw that lovely little machine flying and wanted to track down its owner - didn't know it was you. Hope we'll meet another time. It looked v lightweight and floaty esp. considering it was carrying a camera. I'd love one like that
PS - superb pics too

We took some when we went up in the helicopter and videoed it at santa pod, but not half as good a quality as those, to say its from a camera phone too

, what camera phone was it?

Pics are great simon... We must have just left...

One question though... How long must your arms be to press the button on ya phone to take a snap?
