Do we want a rest of the west meet or can we join in with the cornish meet somwhere near bodmin?
If we want a seperate rest of the west venue here's some suggestions:
Dunster beach near minehead exmoor go off season and theres loads of parking almost on the beach.
Yeovilton air musesum or maybe a beach somewhere nice in dorset?

Nowt wrong with organising 2 :D , if they're on different dates it'd be better, then you got the option of doing both  Not sure about being able to find a beach in Dorset with enough parking for a meet in August though

I'd love to meet up with you all again :D

August is a bit difficult now (as we are in Devon for a week shortly), and there is the South West meet in Looe in September so it would be nice if it didn't clash with that. Otherwise any time would be great for a meet.

I can't think of anywhere off hand though - we live on the north side of Bristol and it's a bit built up round there  Having said that Prinknash Abbey bird gardens are nice (but it is a long way north for many 'rest of the westerners').

There's a really interesting pub round my way with plenty of parking - not sure if they'd be interested, also not much for the children. Well, nothing for chldren really. Anyway, I'll ask them next time I go there.

It's interesting mainly because it is like a blast from the past, a pub that has not changed in decades. Serves from barrels at the back of the bar, cheap food (max £4-ish). And it's in the Good Beer Guide 2008.
