Bongo Fury

I've already jumped on another thread with a similar problem but just in case mine is different....

Topping up about a pint of water a week. Been away the last week leaving El Bongo on the drive and went to move it today and alarm went off - No visible leaks -although I'm no expert and could be looking in the wrong places. Could I lose water standing still? How can I do a pressure test mentioned in other posts? MOT due this month so will get the exhaust gas checked as Kirsty recommended. Finally, any recommendations on a Bongo friendly garage near Guildford Surrey?

Ever grateful for the endless fun and info I get from this site.... and need lots of positive thinking from you all as a cant afford for beloved car to be off the road...

Yes you can loose water without the car running, In my case one of the rear heater matrix pipes had split and it was seeping from there. Luckily spotted it without driving anywhere and fixed it before driving.

You need to get to the bottom of this before using the car really as it could get worse fast and you could damage your engine.

Nearest garage I know to you is lakeside, they advertise under the for sale section here. Slightly further away in Newbury is discount trucks that I can say are very good as they've helped me many times.

Yep, had the same problem...couldn't work out where it was leaking from but stumbled accross the metal pipe that runs along the drivers side (underneath) and goes to the rear heater matrix. It was quite a small leak but enough to lose a substantial amount of water. If it is that then Bongobits do one for £44. Its on their website as an "Offside coolant pipe". A bit fiddly to fit due to an obscure front bracket but ok after that....hope you find it.
