Bongo Fury

Looking to change stereo, have taken the old one out out and have spent the last couple of hours looking for the correct connector but they all look as if they won't fit - http://s584.photobucket.com/albums/ss28 ... LD1669.jpg

The connector in your picture is certainly an odd one for a car stereo so the one recommended in the e bay link above will be no good at all (that one looks to me like the later Mazdas such as the RX8/ Mazda 3/5/6 etc to me certainly wouldn't fit an older Bongo like mine!)

It may well be that you will need a full rewire job unless there are any other connectors further down the loom.

Where abouts are you.. there may be someone local who could have a look

I replaced my Bongo Stereo on Saturday with and all singing all dancing one, this is the connector I used ebay link I was just plug (connect up earth strap) and play but tbh honest I haven't seen a connector like yours before, so im not sure

You could always try your local car accessory shop, if they are anything like mine they will drag their collection out and find one that fits, it certainly looks like the one that was posted in missfixit70's ebay link, so I would give that a try
