SLIDING REAR SEAT

Today I lifted the release handle underneath the rear seat to slide it back, but the handle is stuck in the up position which means the rear seat is continuously sliding back and forward, is there a simple way of retracting the release lever without me stripping out the rear sliding seat.

Incidentally when I turn the rear sliding seat round to face backwards the sliding mecahnism doesn't work. Is this normal?

As previous poster said the runners have to switched around - there's a very detailed post somewhere - I think it may be titled 'Have your cake and eat it' if memory serves me well.

Didn't do it myself, but had it done - essential I would say if you plan to sleep downstairs and have the 'lounge' layout.

Madmile has done a Fact Sheet on reversing the middle seat, invaluable information.
