Bongo Fury

The 17th annual Southport airshow is on at the end of this month.26th and 27th September.
We visited the show last year and got grandstand seats in the fairground car park, best seats in the show.
If anyone is interested in going to this year's show on the SUNDAY 27th, just post your interest, and we will see if we cannot beat last years grand total of i think 10 bongo's.
This is the day after the Blackpool meet, so it could be a full weekend if your interested in going to both.

Yes, Mrs M and I would go for that, either day. Should have been off my legs then, after knee surgery scheduled for Thursday this week but we got back from Devon on Friday, to find a letter waiting, postponing it until 22 October

Great news, and not just because I'm a coward! Can now get in some more 2009 Bongoing among other things, and have already booked another 13 pitch nights - in East Anglia, from 1 October . Birding around the Norfolk and Suffolk coasts, Sutton Hoo, a couple of National Trust stately 'ome visits, Bletchley Park - and Autumn Air Shows at both Shuttleworth Collection, Old Warden and IWM, Duxford. So, icing on the cake, Southport as well.

That's a good start , 10 going or possibly going already and its only the first day of posting, and not as someone said my first time organising a meet, i think there was a surprise birthday party for bigdaddy last year that a certain person sorted.
