A BIG well done Chris and Jo. What a
great little meet that was, again great food and service at the pheasant. There was a pub quiz ( the picture part being so easy we couldn't be bothered to waste ink answering them) then a raffle, and then ' hunt the keys' followed by 'How quick can you break into a Bongo' The exitement was non stop. =D> =D>
As always, nice to meet new faces as well, who was that nice well dressed bloke in the grey suit and blue waistcoat ?
Dots a bit better now, should be ok in a day or two.
Chris , sorry about your Bongo, but it did sound like a sack of spanners when you went up the hill next to the pub, really hope it isn't to serious.
Will try and put pics on soon, thanks to everyone again for making it another great weekend away

Yes sir, I can Bongo !!

Thanks for turning up friends it was a brilliant meet. I am glad you all enjoyed it.

Was good for the children's playing field and the funds we raised for that. We have raffle tickets out in shop two lots, one for the Cark Rememberance tree and one for the children's playing field.

A customer of our's (old timer) Asked what the raffle tickets are for, I explained they were for remembrance tree and children's playing field. I was sure he was going to go for the remembrance tree. The old fella said "give me a strip for the playing field, they are still alive" fair game I thought. The dead we know will always be remembered by us.

Sorry we didn't do breakfast. I laid in late I was piggy in the middle of Chris and the Boxer dog!!! I was totally warm and cosy though lol which is why I wasn't keen to get up. I usually come round about midday even when I am working and feel very lucky I own my boss lol

I have some pics to put up and will probably do that tomorrow... Keys look involved :oX

Lovely meet friends THANK YOU xx

thanks Jo and Chris for a really good meet - we had a brilliant time The pheasant was excellent - though we expected that as we went there before. Allithwaite is fast becoming a home for bongos the locals all seem so welcoming too.Nice to meet some newbies hope we didnt put you off with our "sophistication." - Harry looked very dapper and nice to meet Robina at last.
Glad Dot is a bit better hopefully in time for xmas.We kept our eyes open for mr&mrs M on the A65 at one point we thought we spotted you at kirby lonsdale but it was way too dirty to be yours and as subsequently found out, you didnt make it past Grange - hope you get it sorted.
Di i enjoyed the midnight stroll especially the glowing eyes - just glad you had that torch.

Howdy,

Thanks to you all for making us feel welcome (Pete and family - your lovely card has pride of place), we had a top time and a great meal !! Well done Jo and Chris for organising and introducing us to such a top venue (food and hospitality was first class), must be down to the fellow wiganer owners

Just finishing the last of our beers from the raffle now - Dad will have to have socks for christmas after all

Was pleasantly surprised on how well we coped in the freezing temperatures for only our second overnighter in the bongo, winter, no probs !!

PS Get well soon Mr Munkey's Bongo !

All the best
