How do,

Can anyone explain how I get the drivers seat out, before I spend a day removing evey bolt anywhere near the front seats!

The mid conversion prevents you from flipping the seat back far enough in order to change the air and fuel filters.

It's just held in by 4 bolts - 2 front and two rear. They are obvious if you slide the seat back and forth

Dont forget the bolt that holds the sliding seat belt rail, at the side of the seat on the engine cover.
and then unclip the wire from under the seat, (seat belt warning light)
i have changed the fuel filter from underneath and thats without ramps.you just have to be careful, but dunno if you need to take the seat out for the air filter.

+ the seat belt anchor on the engine cover as well John.

That makes 5 in all.

On some, its possible to get enough access if you flip the seat forward , slide it as far toward the steering wheel as it will go then give the seatbelt a tug to lock it & hook it over the front to hold it up . . . .

Don't slide it all the way forward until you've tilted it up beyond the steering wheel, then slide it forward to rest on the wheel, or prop it up with something. I've used one of those bar type steering locks before as it extends out & locks out nice & tight to wedge it up

I took my front seat out in minutes - four nuts to remove, simple as.

that's weird - I can get to mine with my conversion but they are all different - good luck.

My avatar shows a bongo that is the same model type as my own but minus the dings and dents.

Ah! Just wondered if seat removal was the same on the earlier Bongos as on the Friendee type. You'd think so but.......
