Re: Show us yer insides
It's not always that tidy, Marjie, but I do receive envious compliments from friends as their car interiors are absolutely shocking. However, their houses do not look like they have children resident (until Isaac goes round to play) - mine looks like an explosion in a nursery school most of the time!
If I were to take a photo of the inside of the Bongo now, the seating area's OK, but the boot area is a little cluttered and also caked in mud from where the boy got caked yesterday at the park and stood in there to take his muddy waterproofs off and threw them (stripper style) rather than wrap everything inside his jacket (which I had turned inside out for the purpose). I think his bike has dried to the rubber mat it's on.
We find that loo very handy locally, and yes, it's a bit big so we tend to leave it at home if we are going away and know there will be loos en route and at the campsite. There's not a lot of public loos in Cornwall and even fewer at this time of year. We can't cross our legs until April 1st which is when most of them open again It's a great loo though, as it's got a lidded bucket inside so we can empty it very discreetly if we do find a loo open on our travels.
Whilst I wouldn't want the following statement to follow me to the grave I do believe that the world's your oyster when you've got a portable toilete with you

There are malcontents in our family who spread the rumour that I only bought a Bongo so I had somewhere to put the Porta Potti. Not true, of course - I also bought it so nurse had somewhere to keep warm and dry while I had my afternoon nap.
