Redrocket.
I am still looking for a good 4WD Bongo to self build
Quite smitten by your design and layout.
Have you the plans or better still would you consider doing a cut board and edged only "kit"?

Thanks for your comment, has been worth all the pain and managed to get a some good use out of her before the summer came to a crashing end this week :( mega sad face. Id like to try winter camping, in a Forrest somewhere, with a nice firepit and many bottles of red haha.

Hi Bongolia, I could quite happily cut you up a kit for you to use, even create you a custom kit to fit your needs if you would like, PM and we can chat in greater detail as there is lots of things to consider

Do you have seatbelts on the rear facing seats? How does that work? What mounting points did you use?

I think I'm getting side conversion envy!! looks very cosy.

Do you sleep upstairs or does this transform into a bed as well?

Is that a heating duct for an eberspacher or simila\r system??

How does the bed make up,or do you just use "upstairs" ?

Well, my time here in Bongoland has come to an end... for now. We have sold our beloved Buddy and he is getting picked up by his new owner tonight. I also just wanted to say thanks for all the help I have been given over the last couple of years and although I've not been a hugely active user of the forum I have read many many threads and found this resource to be extreeeeeeeeemely useful so thank to all it's contributers....
Before I go I though I'd share a link with you showing some of the photos of our finished conversion... I don't think I've uploaded them before.

Was it you we discussed what best to finish the woodwork with? Looks a fun Bongo. Good luck with the next project.
