not much happin in the way of new meets, have looked at the calender and there is only di,s as a real n/.w meet so far.
does anyone want to organize some for the rest of the year.
lets have them up on the calender so there is something to look forward too.
no york yet mike and no silverdale either harry, might be a complication on that one as dont no wether its still open.
we usually have a full calender by now.

I know what you mean there Dave

It is looking a bit grim isn't it? One between now and May would be good as I dont think I can wait 10 weeks

I'm hoping to sort out a meet for mid August at Crooklands to co-incide with a little celebration of mine

if anyone's interested. I'll get it sorted and onto the calender asap.

im gonna have to look into the york meet. somehow for some reasons im only guessing but i dont think goosewood would welcome us back with open arms. would peeps want to go back there. i could ask there.
if not im gonna have to shift into gear. there is naburn locks where we were 3yrs ago, they would have us back but its just a big field with no hook ups oh and no big woods.

How about a Picnic/Bar B Que day meet at Bolton Abbey in Yorkshire
I keep promising the Juniors of the Squadron I would take them back there.
Some nice little gentle walks, Loads of Parking, A river to paddle, a Ruin to Explore, Toilets, Cafe, Ice Cream, Stepping Stones and some fantastic Scenery
Bolton Abbey Linky
Map of area with Campsites listed etc
