Possibly - I'm still going to be very tight on time getting this conversion into a habitable state. I'll also detour off the A9 at Dunblane to say hello to my parents and collect a rear seat back cover / tray that I managed to leave there last time I was visiting.

RV @ Hamilton services 2.30 pm and convoy from there?

Hi Astra

We arrived after 8.00 last year and it was fine. Most sites have reception open untill fairly late. Look forward to seeing you at the weekend, have a safe journey there!!

All the best

Can't see anything about late arrivals and locked gates on their website.

I have agents on the ground in Newton Stewart. They inform me the temperature at night has been below zero with a sharp frost, but weather is dry. Daytime walking requires woolly hats and gloves.

But no midges! See you there....... 8)

I think the forecast is for it to get a bit warmer by the weekend =D> but that of course is all relative  I have already set aside my sun hat, speedos and flip flops to make space in my suitcase for a spare vest, knee length socks and a wee bottle of the warming nectar     have a safe journey, up / down /over to Kirkcudbright everyone.... look forward to seeing you there :D

all the best
