Some have claimed success with vacuum bleeding, but how do you know you've got all the airlocks out?
Good bit of lateral thinking though, I was thinking about using it for vacuum bleeding brakes (after wasting £15 on a bleeding useless gunson ezibleed

)

The vac bleeding all sounds logical, and I expect it would be a good place to start from - and then try the conventional method to be sure that there is no air left in the system.
One concern I would have is damaging any fragile pipes / matrixes when placed under a strong vacuum - but I suppose if they fail under vacuum, then they would have failed eventually on the road at a much less convenient time.
Kirsty - I've found these easibleed kits OK, but only if you get the right lid for the reservoir. Anything not 100% and it's just a world of brake fluid and disappointment.

Maybe when bits don't fall apart in your hand & you have bits of hose to hand long enough to stick on your nipples

When I changed the rad on mine a short while back I used a Snap-On vacuum filling system, very easy & it also lets you know if you have any leaks as you can't pull & hold a vacuum if you have. There shouldn't be any airlocks because there shouldn't be any air left in the system - the clue is in the word 'vacuum'

Mine was a doddle to do & hasn't needed topping up since. It's a method that is used on lot on difficult cooling systems in the trade. The Bongo is a pain to fill, but so are many other cars these days.
