Daft question.... just bought a second hand cover for my fiamma bike rack, can I drive with it fitted? Or will inflate like a dragster air-brake? When I go away next week, I'm going to have over a grands worth of bike on the back, and I don't want all the salt etc over them, as the chromed fixings corrode quicker than my Bongo does... Thanks in advance.

Hi
Having just invested in some new bikes recently we wanted a good bike rack cover. Did a bit of research on net and it seemed that Fiamma covers don't last that long and neither do Halfords. Went for a Taylor-Made one in the end and what a fantastic buy!! Really easy to fit (though not so easy to take off at campsite as we needed to be a bit taller - hence if anyone was at Robin Hoods Bay at weekend and saw me balancing on husband's shoulders to remover cover, that was the reason!! Still, gave people on the next pitch a laugh. We have a solution though, we are taking a small stool next time to get the extra height required!). Cover is very good material, rain just ran off it on the journey back. Bikes well protected. Only other thing was it seemed a bit noisy during the night to me with the gale force wind that was blowing (good old English weather!) it was blowing around a bit though it didn't come off, kept bikes covered and was probably only loud as I had my head right next to the door that the bikes were behind. Again, apparently the solution for next time is extra bungees! Anway absolutely top notch notch buy from a small family company with next day delivery! Would highly recommend.
