Whats this then ?? where do i move it to ?

hi folks .. got my 1st bongo at the weekend .. want to put a leisure battery in but somethings in the way .. what is it and where can it be moved to ?

Anywhere it's out of the way, it's an aftermarket gizmo, not sure what it's supposed to do, Alternator noise filter? Is yours a petrol?

It seems to be marked 'Alternator Noise Filter', which is apparently meant to cut down interference on the radio.
It can be moved out of the way, if it is earthed then ensure it gets a good earth in its new position.

cheers folks .. no its a diesel 2.5 auto - i'll get it moved somewhere else.

If it is a diesel then you may not need it. Disconnect and see if the radio is affected.

But don't earth it via the radiator due to the risk of electrolysis.
