Hi.. Unfortunatly smelled that used coolant smell recently and found that my bongo radiator was weeping slightly at the very top of the radiator when engine warm.. ALL the way across the top of the fins its damp but only dripping from one spot.... Only small amount is dripping but needs attention..
Are re-con of the radiator pricey or is it just easier to buy a new one??
I am in Australia and as there is HARDLY ANY bongos here im wondering if anyone can give me a DEFINATE replacement to match up that is the same as the Bongo??
eunos,323, B2500 ute, 626, Ford ranger etc??

Hi
I am sure that there are some good shippers who can get a rad to you...maybe order direct from Japan...I know a lot of e-bay sellers ship world-wide...I use international quite a lot, and I can't remember how much carriage was...they aren't that heavy.
If you try a Ford Ranger one, check to see if it has the oil cooler for the transmission on the bottom...it may not have

Be careful using a rad sealer, in most cases the old bongo rads seem to bung up n cause overheating so keep an eye on that temp guage. Had a rad weep n pop on me just last sat night on the way out!! started as a tiny weep on the top which i noticed 5 mins beforei left and thought, i'll drop a new rad in first thing monday! typical!!
