Temperature gauge

Post by Debs and David » Sun Apr 11, 2010 6:06 pm

Hi

The needle of the temp. gauge hardly moves and never goes out of the white box next to the C, and it seems the faster you go the needle goes back towards it's rest position, i.e.70. Any thoughts, the header tank is normal and the engine isn't hot, is this the normal position for the needle?

Thanks

David

Nope. Not normal at all. The standard set up temp guage is pretty vague to say the least but they tend to sit around the 11 o'clock mark most of the time. Sounds like something ain't connected up right.
