Bongo Fury

The garage has said air is coming into the the pump sumwhere so says rather than doing diagnostics to find what's causing it on the pump. May be cheaper to get a used pump. Anyone know where to get them from that aint over priced?

have you tried a pm to those listed in breaking bongos

If the problem is at the pump the front seal is the usual culprit. Personally I would take the Bongo to a pump specialist. Air can be drawn into the pump from connections downstream from the pump so a replacement may not resolve your problem.

They garage attatched clear fuel pipes to look for air?

Air was going from the pump back to the tank? but not going into the pump?

The seals easy to change?

If the pump does need to come off. The garage said that they'd recommend replacing the cam belt as they would have to adjust it etc. Is this correct?

Front seal is behind the drive pulley, new belt needed.
