Hi All,

Thanks for all your help recenlty regarding my suspected cracked head. I diligently followed all of your suggestions but unfortunatly all these tests lead to the one conclusion - Its cracked.

It is booked in for 4th May for 1300 GBP. While its there it will also have the drop link arm done and some other TLC.

Thanks again and speak to you all soon.

Regards

Joel

Sorry to hear the bad news. Well it has to be done and thats that so I guess its 'draw a line and crack on' time. Worth asking for reassurance they will flat the block and use gasket sealant as advocated by Simon Jones (can't remember the name of the gasket sealant but you could PM Simon). Also, has the underlying cause known (sorry, I can't remember your original post so don't know) as that needs addressing.

Good luck - keep us posted. 8)

Ouch.

As Mike says you need to find out (and cure) WHY it went.

Good luck. :)
