My Mazda Bongo has 75,000 on the clock. When should I change the timing belt and about how much would it cost?

Should be changed at 100,000km, but how old is it? I'd get it done then there's no worry.
As for the cost, recent thread here - http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... iming+belt

Thanks for the advice. One more question - having just followed the link someone mentioned that it may be different for a diesel as they have a timing chain?
I have a 2.5 turbo diesel, would you still recommend the same course of action.

Thanks

Ray

Hi

All Bongos have belts, 2.0 is super simple, 2.5TD fairly easy 2.5V6 leave it to experts.
