AGM: Proposed Rule Change
If you are a member of the club you should know that there are 4 rules that must be obeyed to the letter. Obviously they can not be repeated here in open forum; if you want to see them they are in the members area at http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/member ... .htm#rules.
However, it has been suggested that a 5th rule (rule 1.1 (1) e) should be introduced.
So the question is
What sign should a member make if they are travelling in (or on) a non-motorised form of transport, and they spot a Bongo?

I had thought that rule 1.1 (1) (b) applied in these cases?

Consider safety issues when secret signing on your bike, scooter. or in Teona's pram.
Always be ready for a Top Up!
Re: AGM: Proposed Rule Change
That's a very good point, Dave. So if rule 1.1 (1) (e) is introduced, this will mean an amendment to rule 1.1 (1) (b). To avoid confusion, I will have to start a new thread.dave_aber wrote:I had thought that rule 1.1 (1) (b) applied in these cases?

A smaller version of Rule 1.1 (1) (b) but still suggesting the raising and lowering of that unique feature, the Auto Free Top.What sign should a member make if they are travelling in (or on) a non-motorised form of transport, and they spot a Bongo?
Raise your arm, then open and close 4 fingers over the thumb.
This gesture should be performed in a bold manner with fingers together, so as not to be confused with the 'happy talk' sign.

Just tried that .... problem is, the thumb descends as the fingers raise .... just looks wrong to me - more like a yawning mouth than an AFTDoone wrote: Raise your arm, then open and close 4 fingers over the thumb.
Re: AGM: Proposed Rule Change
Stick your thumb out more, and practice.

With mine, my fingers wouldn't go all the way up without a shove from below.

My understanding is the Shaka comes into play when a vehicle is 10 years old in Japan, and that's how come most of us have them.
