 You're looking much too deep guys. Hangten wrote this:
... tried that ......... and got a couple of offers of a lift home
So my suggestion to stick to the surf sign was for him, as a surfer.
But as csmcqueen said, we do all surf on here...

Ian asked:
What sign should a member make if they are travelling in (or on) a non-motorised form of transport, and they spot a Bongo?
And my suggestion was:
A smaller version of Rule 1.1 (1) (b) but still suggesting the raising and lowering of that unique feature, the Auto Free Top.
Raise your arm, then open and close 4 fingers over the thumb.
This gesture should be performed in a bold manner with fingers together, so as not to be confused with the 'happy talk' sign.
But so far nobody but me can do it easily...
So who has another idea? 8)
