My Recent Travels up North
Easter was upon us and it was time to head up North via The Lakes and Berwick upon Tweed.
Here was home for the Easter Weekend at Troutbeck Head Caravan Club Site.
Ullswater with the steamer in the background.
A few bare essentials.
Home for the week at Caravan Club Berwick upon Tweed.
St Mary's Loch
View from our pitch over looking the mouth of the River Tweed.
First time using my new twin electric hook up which was spot on.
Well that's just alittle from our travels up North, roughly covered 1500 miles over the course of the holiday where the weather was kind to us for most of it

We did pop across to Peebles to collect an awning from Dandy Wharhol , also quite abit of miles around the Borders. Never did see another BongoMountainGoat wrote:You were almost in my back yard and I never saw you. Well no one has reported seing me around yet.

My Bongo's well hided from the main road in a cul de sac. If you passed along the Melrose Bye Pass on your way to Peebles from Berwick then you would have passed a few hundred yards from me.
I trust that David & Helen suffed you with Muffins when you were in Peebles.

Yes Deb's might have to agree as the view was just amazing waking up each morning looking out to sea.Debs and David wrote:Love the pics. my fav. is the last one, very good.

Great pics folks. Glad to see you made it over to St Mary's Loch on your way back to Berwick. Make sure to call in again on your next trip 'up North'.
Was the cafe open at St Mary's Loch? After you had gone I suddenly thought it may not be 'open season' for them yet
All the best
David.

Lovely post. Really enjoyed the pics. Harry likes to see the snow on the mountains. Very nice bongo and awning too. Will need to investigate St Mary's Loch. Harry and Trish

You will like St Mary's Loch Trish, there is a sailing club located there at the western end besides the Tibby Shiels Inn. Plenty of water for you to paddle around in. As a bonus you can pop in to see June and me a few miles further on.
