New tyres, droplinks & tracking but STILL uneven tyre wear!

Hi all,
I've replaced the droplinks and got new tyres (and had the tracking checked) on my Outlander alloys but I'm still getting excessive wear on the outside of my front tyres. Its a 2wd 2.5td with 205/60/16 s on the front - as its a new import the garage I got it off put new bottom balljoints and a new wishbone on the O/S so I'm surprised I'm still getting the wear -it was doing this before all the work so what else do I need to do? Can the front shocks be worn (new MOT though) - dodgy steering rack or try and and get the alignment done properly at a Bongo specialist (am I answering my own questions again
) I did replace the arbs and tighten it all up with the wieght of the Bongo on its wheels.
.. steering still feels quite loose and unconnected - especially when going over bumps though the bangs have stopped with the new droplinks and arb's - so I'm entirely surprised something still seems amiss.
cheers,
Steve
