We only met Dot a couple of times but she always made us feel welcome. Our thoughts are with Alan and his family at this sad time.

My condolence to you and your family Alan. Although I did not get to know Dot very well I am sure that she will be greatly missed by you and your family not to mention the Bongo Crowd. I hope that you will eventually be able to resume attending Bongo Meets if not you too will be missed.

Such a sad day to hear the passing away of our little Dot.
It was nice to see both of you at the tough northerners but sadly the last time i saw Dot.
My thoughts are with you Alan and family, you know you've only got to ask if you need anything.
Lost without my Bongo.

As Alison has written previously, condolences to Alan, if we can assist in any way let us know.

Hopefully we can remember the good times, like last year's Stourport bash with Black Sheep for breakfast

I just dont know what to say alan,,, im so so sorry to hear about your loss.
As DBO says was so nice to meet up with you both again at the tough northerners,
She will be sadly missed,

A rose once grew where all could see
Sheltered beside a wall,
And as the days passed swiftly by
Its branches spread, straight and tall.
One day, a beam of light shone through
A crevice had opened wide-
The rose bent gently towards its warmth
Then passed to the other side..
Now you who deeply feel its loss
Be comforted...the rose still blooms there-
Its beauty even greater now
Nurtured by God's own loving care.

RIP DOT x
