Sentiment from Lizzy . . . .

Remember

Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land:
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you planned:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

Hi peeps, all your wonderfull messages have started me off big time again!! Don't really know what to say, but thank you everyone.
Karen has all the details, address, phone number and date, if any one wants to attend the funeral, please, dont feel as if you are invading on a personal matter, you lot of nutters are considered friends and I know Dot would really like it and thats what funerals are for, family (and this is the biggest) and friends.
Muz, that picture of Dot, how did you know, I was talking to our steven about the very same today and told him I'd try and find it to print off and, i'd forgotten it was a bottle of Black Sheep, weird.

Although I know neither of you, other than through the forum, I have shed some tears this evening for you and your family over your terribly sad news, Alan.

The hole in your life which Dot has left will always be there, but little by little, year after year that huge hole will get smaller - filled with the continued love and support of family and friends, and filled with the happiest of memories of Dot, and filled with the challenges and experiences which lie ahead which you will want to share with her in your quiet moments.

Thinking of you.

Alan, I too have not had the pleasure of meeting either of youse. I was saddened by the news about Dot, but was deeply touched to read what others who were lucky to know her said. This must be very difficult for you and your family, so please remember that you are in our thoughts and prayers aswell.
