hi all, a question for those mechanic types. I am fitting a new cylinder head which came as a bare head, theres a pipe fitting which needs 'sweating in' which came with the head. (its the water pipe with a 90 degree bend) but it only has one spigot off the elbow where the old pipe has two, one of which is the bleed pipe spigot. is it possible to get the old one out and reuse it. and how? any ideas

Sounds like you mean the cross docking stock & you've got the ford ranger one rather than the bongo one -
http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... king+stock should be able to reuse the old one it it's ok.

Sounds like you've got a Ranger head rather than a Bongo one. I believe it is compatible though. See here for more info:

I managed to remove the pipe from the old head and re-used it 2 years ago, and it's been fine ever since

CHEERS to you all for your answers after checking out the new spare one from bongo bits thought it was a bit pricey! so first job is to try and get old one out, time to get the gas torch out i think.
