Bongo Fury

Hello people,

This might be an obvious one...(I have looked through techie stuff!)....but I have a small sized spare wheel under my Bongo (prob the original from Japan). Can I take the small wheel off and replace it with a full size one with no problems? I mean will it fit onto the existing system, or would I have to modify the winch-type system in any way? I'm a bit unhappy with the little wheel and would prefer a full sized one for our travels.

No mod needed.. But it will jut slightly below the rear bumper line...

Get rid of the wheelbarrow tyre asap it's probably years out of date & is only rated to do 50 miles at 50mph or sumat daft like that when it's new. Proper size one fits no problem. Have alook in stuff wanted/swaps section there may be some available.

Don't really matter its only a spare, unless your going to use it permanently.standard 15 inch steel bongo wheel is ok.
as for front and back being different, most change to the same size all round when the time comes to get new tyres.
