Radio and ciggy lighter fuses

I have been attempting to fit a new radio in the Bongo. Somewhere during the installation I lost power to the radio and the cigearette lighter sockets. The fuses in the fuse box under the dash all seem OK, is there another connector or something to check before I pull the dash out to replace the wiring?
While I was doing this I noticed a couple of other things:
The fuse layout in the members section is numbered differently to the fuses in the wiring diagram that I have although the fuse seems to be shown in the right physical location.
The blue wire used for the cig lighters and radio has a 15A fuse but looks like 3A wiring so I may just bypass it anyway.

If you have auto folding mirrors, do they work? they should be on the same circuit as the radio & lighter socket.

Not that I'm aware of, they are electric but don't fold in by themselves. Clearly I need to raid a Bongo breaker for all the electric goodies that I'm missing :lol:

You might have blown a fuse further up the chain i.e. the 60 Amp IG KEY fuse but its unlikely and would be fairly obvious;

Oh and yes the numbering is different, all Bongo Manual numbering is in BLACK and all Bongo Fury Factsheet numbers are in GREEN

I have volts on the back of the fuse so it looks like I have a break in the wire somewhere. In the wiring diagram you just linked the original text shows the 15A fuse as 9 and the 10A fuse is marked 4, its a trivial detail, I noticed it because I was working from a CD of the wiring manual which isn't marked up like yours.

Humm ?

Maybe you haven't zoomed in and seeing the Japanese text which does look a bit like a 4 and a 9 ? Or perhaps I'm not looking at the right place ?

Ah yes, i think you are correct and it is Japanese text, it is clearer on the picture of the fuse box.
I am now considering a rewire as I want the radio and accessory sockets on the leisure battery, also I don't seem to have a zig unit or similar so i will add one of those as well.

No problem. Its a real pain with the different numbering schemes, I can see how and why it appeared originally, but its too well known now to change however. I'm tending to refer to them by row and position and link to the small pop up images when required.

The pop-up images are really good, I wish I had looked at that first. I have found some re-wiring on my van, there was a blown 15A fuse under the bonnet. The blown fuse is on what is clearly added wiring and now its replaced I have a working cigarette lighter socket in the dash and in the centre console, these are permanently live. The rear cig lighter socket and the radio have switched power, there is no power to the rear cig lighter.

I'm working on showing the entire Fuse hierarchy at the moment so that its easier to work out what is powered by which fuse, it will be linked from the Fuse panel page (140 ish). After that I would like to be able to get good photo's of each and every switch / sensor / solenoid etc. and then link them to a pop up image same as the fuses, however its quite a significant task and really needs a vehicle that is stripped down to reach a lot of them! Another thought is to be able to link them across to the Lush projects site, I'll need to have a word with Iain I guess for that.
